Brand Manager

Job offer display style:

With great power comes great responsibility – if you ever watched Spiderman you are probably familiar with this principle! So do we – that’s why we are looking for a Brand Manager to join our Untold Tales gang and to help us publish games from our portfolio.

We are about to release our third game – Golf Club: Wasteland, but there are many more fantastic stories (games) in our portfolio waiting to be unveiled. That’s why we need an extra pair of hands. If Untold Tales does not ring any bell in your mind, you can learn all about us from this interview (LINK). A recipe for being a successful Brand Manager is quite simple: mix openness to learn new things with project management, add clear communication and sprinkle it with a bit of craziness. And voila!

We’re intentionally not listing X years of experience or a specific professional profile. In the past you might have been in different roles: marketing project manager, Brand Manager, comms manager – whatever. Marketing is a damn broad field of expertise. Just show us anything that you’ve done in the past that makes you proud. If you’re someone who shows passion, commitment, transparency, honesty, a hint of black humor – we’re on the right track.

Your main storyline includes quests like:

  1. Taking care and management of selected IPs from Untold Tales portfolio.
  2. Development and execution of marketing strategies.
  3. Analyzing marketing activities and conducting essential research.
  4. Briefing, cooperation and coordination of the work of external partners (agencies, freelancers, etc.).
  5. Management of the allocated marketing budget in cooperation with the Head of Marketing.
  6. Concept creation and coordination of advertising campaigns for IPs in UT’s portfolio.
  7. Cooperation with the marketing team, other departments of UT, our developers and 1st Parties.
  8. Creation of the necessary reports and documentation.

Some of the optional side quests:

  1. Playing and providing feedback to our games in development and in evaluation.
  2. Participation in events (online/offline).
  3. Everything not listed above that you will find attractive to do in the marketing area.
  4. Contributing to team decisions, brainstorms, and social meetings.
  5. Being the voice (and face – if you like) of our publishing label to players.

What we expect from our Brand Manager:

  1. Proven experience in marketing project management / brand management / community management (video games/entertainment industry preferable)
  2. Excellent understanding of marketing strategies, especially digital ones.
  3. Creative and strategic thinking.
  4. Good organization and time management ability.
  5. Being a gamer passionate about videogames.
  6. Having a strong command of English both written and spoken (Polish is not required – we’ll even teach you all the good swears words to make you feel included).

This is a full-time role with both remote or being based in Poland as options.

We’re offering you the joy of bringing some truly unique games to life. We pride ourselves on signing titles that have something worth sharing and deserve a spotlight. We’ve created an environment where we all are respected, listened to and where team’s feedback plays a major role in our publishing decisions. We’re offering a friendly and casual atmosphere with diverse and interesting projects co-created with developers from around the world. We are not a corporation and we put our people before any product. We all have families, pets, hobbies and passions — and we believe work should never overwhelm them.

We do not set strict guidelines and salary ranges. We are open to negotiation to ensure you get what you feel you deserve. We reserve the right to answer only selected applications.
